Soldering Iron

Is a 60 watt solder iron good for soldering my Tekin motor wires? Also any particular type solder I should use?

I used a 40 watt iron on my Tekin ESC/Motor with no problems so it should be fine. Just make sure you coat the tip of the iron with solder and tin the wires and terminals that you are soldering to. A tip that helped me solder to the esc posts was to flatten the wire with pliers after tinning it. This way, it can more easily slot into the cutout on the solder post.
