Default Electrical Gremlins please help

I am having electrical issues in my touring car, I need some ideas or direction on solving them. This is what I have and some ideas. The speed control just stops working and does not transmit any power to anything. Turning on and off doesn't work, once the power is gone it doesn't come back. All electronics are less than a year old.

Possible issues discussed so far....
-X-12 motor has seen temps around 220
-X-12 motor has had soldiering iron press on tabs for too long
-X-12 motor may have has a small drop of soldier run down the wire tab. (no obvious signs though)
-Bad speed control (multiple tried and all failed)
-Possible issue with servo

-Team Associated TC6
-LRP SXX Stock Spec (new version)
-Futaba BLS551 servo
-Spektrum SR3100 receiver
-LRP X-12 17.5 stock spec
-DX3R Remote
-AMB transponder
-Much more high speed fan

Please help

Please help
So you have tried several speed controls and have the same problem? If so, I would say your motor is toast. Try replacing it and see what happens. You might also be overloading the BEC of the ESC, causing it to shut down.

Thanks, the next step is to eliminate the much more fan and replace motor with the new 17.5 rev tech. What do you think about the rest of the electronics?

What batteries are you running? Have you tried one component at a time on the bench or everything all at once? It it possible your esc wires are contacting the top deck somewhere and shorting out the esc?
