Default Red Cat transmitter no power

I just bought two ReD Cat Volcano trucks, put new batteries in the transmitters and I have no power on either radio, no lights, and the truck does not respond to either. I've swapped batteries, just did one transmitter at a time. I'm a noob in the R/C stuff so maybe there is something i'm missing. SURELY I do not have two bad radios.

The radio transmitter is a DSM-2C 2.4ghz if that helps

I you're sure you got the cells installed with the right polarity, it does sound like you have 2 bad radios.

Time to contact the place you got them from.....

well after swapping out about 24 new batteries, the remote turned on. I guess I have a real touchy remote or had a bunch of new, bad batteries. hmmm

If those are the orig batts that came with the radios, they're typically cheap cells to begin with. If they've been sitting on a shelf for a while, they're likely to have just simply gone bad. Voltmeter could have saved you some trouble.

If they're dead, I'd get in touch with where you got them and get them to send you good cells.
