i,m looking at getting a new motor redline 4.5 and i know where i can get a used one( about 2 month old) for about 1/3 the price of a new one whats the down side of getting a used brushless motor

It could have been overheated and the sator could be damaged but otherwise, if the seller is a credible racer who knows what he is doing, there is very little downside to buying used brushless motors, especially ones only a couple months old.

Ya been their done that! Buying used motors is hit and miss and todays brushless motors last forever so my question is why is he selling? If it was a 13.5 or better safe to say its ok but a hotter motor 8.5 id buy new myself.

Ive just recently learned my lesson after buying a 30 dollar brushless used motor!

On the other hand why do you want a 4.5 geez thats to much motor!
