Default AC Adapter for Transmitter?

Does anyone make a 9.6v AC adapter for powering a transmitter instead of using batteries?

I'm pretty sure that most radios cut the input from the charge jack when you switch the power on. That said you would have to wire a 9.6 DC adapter to the radio's battery input. If the radio has a TX battery pack with a jack then it's easy, just wire the adapter to the correct battery plug. If the radio uses a battery holder then you would have to solder the adapter to a spare battery clip.
