Default Interesting Servo Fault

I bought a Savox 1251MG servo a couple of weeks ago.
Installed in Tamiya F1 with Hobbywing 13T Mini Motor/ESC combo with Spektrum DX3R radio and SR3100 RX.

The fault is: When the servo centres, brake is applied

If I "blip" the throttle, rear wheels spin then slow down over a few seconds, all normal.
If I blip throttle then quickly apply steering then return to centre, the wheels stop instantly.
If I apply full steering and hold, either left or right, no problem.
There is no evidence of any binding or problem with servo horn or steering links. Remove servo horn - problem remains. Plug a different Savox servo installed in other F1, no problem.

I'll take servo back to shop today (installed in car so I can demonstrate as I would not expect this claim to be taken seriously!)

Posting as FYI, would be surprised if this is a common problem, but never know.

I took cars and demonstrated fault to shop yesterday, servo has been sent back. When I got home and order from rcmart had arrived with a new 1251MG Savox servo.

Installed the new servo - same fault. This morning I have spent a lot of time isolating.I have a 1251MG Savox that does not cause any problems with any RX.Another smaller Savox (don' know model) also no problems.

The new Savox 1251MG shows fault with both my Spektrum SR3100 RX.It does not show the fault with my Spektrum SR300 RX.

It will be interesting to see if the locally sourced servo sent for repair is actually repaired. I can still use the other servo from rcmart as long as I keep it with the SR3100 RX...
