Default Lipo discharge question

I broke my truck at the track yesterday and can't fix it till friday. I still have 2 fully charged 2s 5000 40c lipos. I want to use the storage mode on my charger to discharge them but not sure what amp to set the charger. It goes as high as 1.0 amp. is that a safe discharge amp for this battery?

1 amp will be fine

Will take a while (2.5 hours) though

Cheers

Not knowing what charger you have, discharging on the charger may be very very slow process. Just be prepared if this seems to be taking a while.....
