Running in reverse

I have a HB Ve8 running a Tekin T8 1700kV/4S 14.4v battery / Rx8 BL ESC/ Spektrum SR300 Rec. and a DX3C radio. With everything hooked up , I found that everything is running in reverse.

Fast reverse speed (forward throttle)
Slow foward speed (rev. throttle)
Steering reversed.

Is this a radio issue or an ESC issue?

Are you running this sensored? If so, you should be able to reverse your servo direction for both channels. Probably wouldn't hurt to re-calibrate the radio/esc also.

Sounds like a radio issue. You should be able to change settings on your radio. My son and I both have the same car, esc, motor, and steering servo.

I run a Futaba 4pk, and he runs an m11. Right out of the box he had to reverse his steering servo and I had to reverse my throttle.

That's true but, Futaba always has had a reversed throttle, it is just how they make their radios. I do however think that his problem may be radio related though, I just thought the Futaba part may be a bit misleading. I think he may have calibrated incorrctly or perhaps he has some ATV settings that need to be zeroed before calibration (especially if he is running an Electronic Speed Control). My Sidewinder SV2 has all sorts of issues if trim is set during calibration or if ATV has any setting at all. And for the hell of it switch a motor wire around with another if it is brushless. That usually works to fix a BL motor in reverse. Good Luck:tire:
