I choose this radio for two main reasons. I just didn't feel like carrying eight AA's in the radio and then the price for 2.4GHz system was great in comparison. On top of that there is no antenna. The alternative I was considering was Spectrum DX3E in the same price range.
I just got into RC so can't really recommend a good radio.

I think if u do not mine 8 aa which i dont mind i recently got a fs gt3b cant complain much the response is good and better than the 3prka if u ask me so yea but durability wise i cant say anything im hope it lasts

I got hold of a 3PL and a 2004FS (or something) rx and finally managed to test the 3PRKA.

It's the 203FS rx.

Same issue with the 3PL - rx shuts off periodically. putting caps on the RX doesnt do anything, or using a rx pack. The 2004FS rx works fine with the 3PRKA.
