Default LiPo Battery Advice

Hey guys, ive been out of the hobby for a while now, but I am getting back into it. I used to run an electric rustler, but that guy is on hold for now. I am running a nitro. But The advice I need is for my bump box. I would like to get a LiPo to put in it. The battery that is curently in it is dead. And I know nothing about LiPos. I plan on eventually putting LiPos in the rustler and going brushless. But thats later. But I don need to plan for it with the charger as well. I was planning on getting the stuff from hobbyking due to the prices. Can you educate me? Thanks!

You can either use a single 4 cell pack or two 2 cell packs in series. Regardless you will need to get a lipo capable charger.

I picked up a couple Venom 4S 2100mah 20C packs for cheap and use them for my 1/8 buggy and truggy starter boxes.

I have an idea of what i was thinking, but i cant post links yet.

anyways, for a battery i was looking at the Turnigy 2650mAh 4S 20C Lipo Pack

and for the charger i was thinking about the HobbyKing ECO6-10 200W 10A 6S Bal/Dis/Cyc Charger w/ acc.

what do you think?

You ought to get the low voltage alarm so you don't over discharge - lipos don't like that very well and can get damaged that way. One of the little lvas that plugs into the balance tap will alert you if the voltage is getting low so you can recharge.

You do know that charger you =mentioned will need a power supply...

Yes I do, and awesomely enough I already have a spare power supply laying around. Also, I alrady have a link to one of those warning devices you mentioned. I found them while doing lipo research here.

Anyone have and care advice? I am completely new to lipos.
