I have a 4PKS coming and I spent some time reading the manual, even though it's very similar to my 3PKS as far as menus it was good to read through it. Be sure to set the servo response speed correctly for analog or digital servos or you'll toast a servo.
The 4PL is a great radio and probably the best in that price range in my opinion. I was about to order one for my son but with the 4PKS free RX promotion I couldn't resist and am giving the 3PKS to my son.
The 4PL menu is very much like the 3PKS and 4PKS and is very intuitive. I don't know what you had before but you won't regret getting this system. It's a lot of TX for the money, enjoy.

Wait until you dial the car in... brakes too strong ? Adj. for that, steering too fast or twitchy ? Use dual rate and or steering speed. Throttle/brake curve, EPA, EXP, assignable buttons, you name it. You'll be up all night playing with it.

I've got a 4pks coming, and just to verify - I've got a HiTec 5665MH servo, and according to this page @ Hitec it's a digital servo.
However, according to the 4pks manual on page 46, it states that "HIGH SPEED mode is for Futaba digital servos" and that "other servos, select the NORMAL" mode.
So the HiTec should be programmed to NORMAL, right?
Thanks

I just got my 4PKS last night and haven't bound it to my RX yet but I plan on using High Speed mode for my Hitec servos. I have always set my 3PKS to HRS mode which is for digital servos only and used both Hitec and Futaba digital servos with no problems. Should be fine, maybe someone else can confirm?

Why not adjust it with your index finger while you drive?
