Default DX3S battery mod

Was wondering if anyone knows what LiPo or LiFe battery packs will fit in the battery compartment after taking out the existing battery tray?

Does anyone know what the maximum voltage for the transmitter is?

Just figured that this mod would be a good one considering the DX3S only has a one year warranty and my warranty is up. And I don't want to guess at what the size of the battery would be. Thanks in advance.

4 NiMH is not what I consider heavy.

Plus Spektrum clearly states that using any batter but NiMH/NiCd/Alkaline will void your warranty because the electronics are not designed to run in voltages above 6V for extended periods of time.
