LiFe charging question
#1
I purchased a Life reciever pack for my 1/12 scale and i noticed that My Checkpoint 1030 charger does not have a section for LiFe packs like it does for Lipo and nimh etc.
Any idea if this charger will do the job?
Thanks

I have a TC1030 and I wouldn't use it on a life.
The TC1030's Li-Ion setting will not work -that's for a min voltage of 3.6v/cell to a max of4.1v/cell. Life requires a min voltage of 3.3v/cell to a max of 3.6v/cell. You would overcharge an life using the Tc1030's li-ion lithium setting.
You need a diff charger with a proper life charge mode. Would be good time to get new charger with a builtin balancer as well.

Since you've already got a PS, consider one of the iChargers, has life mode as well as other lithium modes. I've been impressed with my 3010b -
