hiya,
i'm in the market for a new radio for my upcoming savage flux project.
i don't race, just a backyard basher and i'm really interested in this new telemetry idea. to be able to see my motor and esc temperatures without removing the body sounds very good.
i have heard mostly only bad things about the dx3s telemetry, my neighbour has one and showed me that he only gets readings when his truck is near by and he has range issues (around 100m is max, we had tested).
so i'm looking at the sanwa mt-4, i have the old mx-3 fm radio, i've had good experience with it so i would prefer staying with the sanwa/airtronics products.
unfortunately i don't have much time to read through the official mt-4 thread.
few things i'm looking for,
1)good range (i like to drive my trucks farrr, a few hundred meters, i can get that with my fm mx-3)
2)accurate telemetry, especially temperature (doesn't have to be exact, but close is good)
3)feel in hand (is it balanced? i bash for an hour or so, don't want to get wrist pains haha)
can anyone help me out here?
i've also seen this upgrade package called "Yeah Racing (#YE-0020) SANWA MT-4 Sensors Upgrade Kit". has anyone tried this? any good?
thanks!
