Default Hyperion EOS0615i DUO 3+

Hey guys I am having a issue with my charger. When I am charging a battery on it I have been noticing that it will b charging then all of the sudden the amp rate going into the pack drops to 0.00 then jumps back up to like 4.0 (example). It still shows the volts in the pack and the timer keeps going.

I am running a pro-peak 13.8v 20a power supply so I am sure that it has enough power. I just did a firmware update and that still didn't do anything to solve the issue.

That's normal, I believe. The full charge voltage drops down while the balancer keeps the cells balanced. This cycle repeats until full voltage is reached.

That's the way the charger checks batt voltage - it stops charging momentarily so it can determine the batt voltage.

Its normal....
