I have been using a DX3R for a number of years with no problems. I just put together an Associated SC10 4x4, HyTec digital servo, 3100 reciever, Tekin RX8 ESC and Tekin 550 5.5. Problems started when I bound the reciever to the radio. It bound once, I noticed the servo was not centered ( I thought I had gotten it right. I have 7 other cars and they all work just fine) I shut off the radio and reciever, adjusted the servo and turned everythig back on. I lost the bind. When I tried to rebind the radio it would not bind to the SC10. I checked my wiring, battery, changed the batteries in the radio and truck. It still wont bind. I then tried to bind the recieve out of the truck with a stand alone battery I use in my pan cars (7.4 LiFe 2s) the reciver still wont bind. I tried a different reciever ( I have 8-10 3100-3520's in different cars and spares) Still the radio wont bind to ANY reciever. I tried other model settings in the radio, I reset the parameters. It wont bind. I called spektrum and they are at a loss. So I send the radio back as they felt it was the radio. I bought a second new DX3R Pro, came home set it up to the truck again, It bound once, but with no motor of steering function. I shut it off, cycled the power on everything and it lost the bind. Same story as the first radio! They are now both on the way to Spektrum with 3 of the recievers I tried. I also sent the RX8 ESC to Tiken. The only variable in the truck is the RX8. I use RS or RS Pros in everything else and NEVR had a problem. Has anyone seen or heard of anything like this? I just need a clue as to why so I can avoid it again. This has gotten expensive

I went through three of them tell it went right. also have you ever had problems with the transmitter.? I found that they don't like to be charged with the lipo in the hand held unit. sent it to HH and they sent me a brand new one. they do go out.. make sure your pins and wires in the tekin RX8 are good. sometimes when trimming to get them in the receiver they get loose. check your pins to plug it in Black to the out side. sometimes we make a mistake and plug everything in wrong. JMO and trying to suggest things that might help. sometimes the bind plug is bad. test it with a oms tester. see if the wires are good and good luck
