Questions?? Cheat explanation on MMP

Hey I recently started racing spec class (17.5) and I would like to know how to get the most out of my epic d3 motor and MMP. I have castles field link and I was playing around with the cheat mode on it. I sort of understand it, but not fully. I'm not sure where is the best rpm range to set It at. Yes I know that I should have gotten a tekin, but ive had this MMP since I started driving. So basically I would like a clear and easy explanation on the cheat mode in the field link. Thanks for any help!

Default

The best timing curves can be obtained with a lap top in my opinion.

Basically the timing advance forces more electrons into the windings at higher rpm to compensate for coil saturation (depending on settings)

If timing is started too much too low it can cause heat & loss of torque.

I tend to use very broad curves 3300 start, 54,000 end rpm & 20-40 deg timing max.

You can make it act like a second gear if it fully engages in a narrow window.

Default Boost

Yes hook it up to your laptop and you can do more tuning. I think most have the cheat come in a little higher though at around 8-9 thou. your rollout , motor timing and boost settings will have a big effect on how it runs. The Mamba is fast but not as smooth as others.
