Default Castle Sidewinder SV2

Hi guys, first post here....

Have an HPI firestorm, which i've changed to brushless using the Sidewinder SV2 & 5700kv motor combo. Also running lipo in this set-up and did experience some minor glitching, checked the soldering - still had this, put a fan on the esc - cooled the esc a treat but still had glitching, tried a 2.4 (etronix pulse) set up, this worked perfectly and the truck ran so smooth. Anyways, was running the 3rd pack through the truck, had a very small impact with a tree, absolutely nowhere near full speed and if truth be told the firestorm has hit my leg harder than the tree. Now the only response from the truck is the steering. All the electronics are tucked in the usual place and well away from the front bumper which came into contact. I've tried different packs - to no avail, double checked all connections - no change, swapped connections in the rx - no change here either. The car binds with the tx as the green light comes up on the rx, but the little lights on the esc do not light up at all, if its dark they look very dimly lit. I cannot access any programming options and cannot calibrate throttles etc. Its almost as if the ESC is starved of power. The power switch has been a little "iffy" to say the least. I could by-pass this or put a new one on, but i'm worried this would invalidate the warranty as the ESC is only 4 weeks old approx. Does anybody have any ideas?

thanks all

Do you have the Castlelink USB adapter and computer software ?

If the Software fails to recognize the ESC it needs to be sent in for repair

Bypassing the power switch will not void your warranty

Cheers

cheers, unfortunatley i do not have the usb/link software, i did all prgramming via the tx

guess i'll try by-passing the switch first, then if that doesnt work looks like a warranty repair to be arranged
