Does it not fit because there is a small ridge on one side of the connector (usually referred to as a key). If that is the case just cut that portion off.

That ridge is there to make sure you plug it in the right way round so pay attention to how you hook it up to your Rx. In the Spektrum the orange should be "S" the red should be "+" and the brown should be "-".

I had to do that with my 1/16 slash, the stock Traxxas plugs would not fit in my SR300. I trimmed them with a pair of flush cutters and voila.

I just peeked at a picture of the ESC and It looks like it should work.

I was hoping to hear that.... I have black, red and white coming from esc so an intelligent guess would be that white goes to S on the receiver and red and black are + and -?

either go buy a different plug and replace it by lightly lifting the 3 tabs ti remove the existing end. Or use a sharp razor knife and shave off the tab on the side of the current plug, but be carefull not to cut too deep. I usually do the later of the 2.

Ultimate rc network is a good place to go to find help

Thanks for the help guys.... I got it running last night and everything works... I say that bec I was pretty nervous soldering te esc, they said if it gets too hot (obviously) it will ruin it. Now I have to make all the adjustments and fine tuning. Not looking forward to that. I think I should have taken smaller steps.
