Default Charging setups

Well after reading various threads and much deliberation, I purchased a better charging system. A 47A PSU , a Junsi iCharger 306B along with a paraboard for times when charging one battery just wont do.

I wanted to set it up nice and neat, maybe velcro it to a wooden board or ??

Pics would be nice or a good description would be helpful.

Velcroing it to a wooden board is going to make the whole setup heavy. Try plexiglass or something a little lighter, maybe a sheet of steel. If you just lay it out on a table it's pretty neat enough, IMO.

This is what i did to tidy up the mess i had to deal with when using 3 chargers. I only usually use 2 but a 3rd is handy now and again.

Under the grey shelf on the left is the 29A 350W PS.

The power switch on the top left is handy because it allows me to switch each charger on and off individually while still leaving them connected.

have you considered mounting the charger to the PSU casing? if you can do this without covering any vents, causing a short or exposing the charger to additional heat that would be good.

I use a much smaller charging array than you, a turnigy accucel-6 and an old laptop PSU which is like 1/16th wider and longer than it. The accucel sits on top of the laptop psu with a bit of an air gap between them.

edit: that's a really sweet setup, pictured above

If you do set/mount the charger on the power supply, be aware that some of the industrial switching supply cases that many use are not at true ground. Best to make sure the 2 cases remain electrically isolated. If the charger has little rubber non-slip pads that may be enough, as long as they are secure.

Nogas, that's a really cool setup. Can you close the briefcase for portability?

Yes, just need to unplug the chargers from the power strip. The space on the right holds the power lead, multi meter, charging leads / adaptors etc.

25.99$ Alu Case at Harbor Freight which includes dividers, pluckable foam and tool pouch(not used).
With creativity, and industrial velcro/shoegoo to mount everything, here's my how i transport my charger/lipos/tx. To carry away i can simply just unplug power wire, tuck in to the box and close. Have had lots of compliments with this setup.
Elecs in the case:
Dell 500W 41A PSU- Tucked under team associated sign, soldered with extra bullet connectors just in case friends want to taxi off power supply or for PC fans I use to help cool equipment
2x 10A venom lipo chargers (with built in USB, hence the usb light)
DX3R
Speakers powered by the power supply (12v stepped down to 5v)
room for at least 6 2 cell stick pack lipos

Also shown is a pic of my miniaturized setup I also did for the sc18.
