The ESC only has the reactive frequency in punch control setting four, if you run it in another punch contol setting it may work.

AE Racer, Thanks, I'll give it a try !

I am pretty impressed to see that contrary to what the HRS documentation says the HRS reciever and a Futaba Digital Servo work GREAT on a 4 cell 1/12th scale even when the battery starts to dump. So much for needing 6v :)

3pk transmitter case/bag

...what are you guys using for a transmitter case for your 3pks?

I had a nice case for my old Futaba PCM's but the 3 pk is TOO big to fit...

I use a bag made by Speedmind. www.speedmind.net

Has anyone used paint stripper to get the gold paint off? I was wondering if it would mess up the plastic?

rc-zombies 01-10-2005 12:51 PM

Ive worked with paint strippers... it will definately mess up the plastic...

You're better off sanding it down lightly... Prime it...
and spray with Laquer paint.. more durable than Enamel.
of course..you'll have to take the TX apart first.

HELL YEAH...
it definitely eats up the plastic, don't ever use 'strippers' on plastic, even with so-called plastic strippers you have to be careful because they don't work on all types of plastics... go figure.
Follow rc-zombies advice  ;)

I have found out that the hrs system can operate down to 4.5 volts, not like 6 volts like it says in the book.

I am helping MRT to get a new speedo on the market & it was loosing it`s calibration(speedo) so with a scopey thingy MRT tested the radio to see why there speedo won`t hook up to my HRS system!!! so that`s how i know;)

Is there a speedo on the market that will work with an HRS RX and 7.2v-8.4v pack?

I once emailed Venom and they said theirs won't run on voltage that high.

I've ran the GT7, GTX, VFS-2000, VFS-1, Keyence pro, with no problems with the HRS receivers.
