Default Hooking up new electronics. Surprises?

I'm planning on hooking up a new MMP and 2.4 M11. I have no experience with either, bu have been around the hobby for years. Am I in for any surprises, or is it a pretty smooth install if I follow the instruction?

Pretty straight forward mate

Grab the Castlelink software and usb adapter to program the ESC with your PC

Once your transmitter and reciever are bound, calibrate the transmitter to the ESC (trims centered and throttle / brake travel at 100%)

Cheers
