it's not just savox, all digital servos are noisy. just make sure that your endpoints are set correctly and aside from that you're not gonna need to worry about the noise.

Just to make sure, it's even noisy during idle.

U should be fine. The servo is just trying to find its center constantly.

Yea, that servo drove me crazy. The loudest servo ever! I had a 1258TG and sold it. I read that Savox servos arent all there cracked up to be. I'm stickin to HiTec

In this video you can here the noise of the Savöx servo's even through the music..

But the noise is OK, it is Savöx typical, they work great and they are by far the servo's with the best 'bang for the buck'....

You should be worried when it does not make any sound

I managed to stripped the gears of my SC1258tg just yesterday. My bad And this after almost reaching the 10 gallon mark.

If you think the Savox are noisy, wait till you get your hands on Hitec 5998TG, uuurgghhh the beeping and the whinnin... aarrgghhhh

So you read somewhere that Savox are not all that they're cracked up to be and you believe it as fact?

I like both Hitec and Savox. Hitec used to have great servos with very affordable prices but now their newer servos are reaching Futaba/KO pricing territory. And now Savox has taken over the high performance per dollar mantle.
