Default LiPo Connection Break

So I just bought a new turnigy hardpack lipo, and as I was cutting the connector off to replace with a deans one I accidently cut into both wires at the same time and it sparked on me =( So now when I try to charge it my charger (thunder ac6) says that there's a "connection break". Ive heard on nimhs and nicds that if you do that it can break the solder points inside the pack, does anyone know if that might be the case with this lipo pack? Or did I just kill it =(? I'm actually afraid to take the hardcase off to take a look (somewhat new to lipo still and everything says not too and "danger danger" everywhere). Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
