Took my Yokomo BD for another run, but somehow I managed to blow the motor. It is a Reedy Stockstar. The positive end overheated so much that the solder melted and the bullet connector fell off.

Took it out of the car, and tried it, but no hope. I connected it to a battery and still, did not work. Took it apart, clean it up. I noticed the brushes were almost worn down, and the commutator was not smooth anymore.

You guys think I blew it? Or Does it need a rebuild?
