dx3s lipo

Maybe this is a stupid question, but, does anyone make a lipo battery for the Spektrum DX3S transmitter? What about a charge cord?

if your charger will charge A123 (Life) then go that way say its 6.6 volts this way you dont need a ubec

here is a pic of mine with one of my life packs 1600mah it will run for 8hr before it needs to be charged

Just wondering why you would bother running one of those instead of a set of LSD nimh's, such as Sanyo Eneloops

Do you get a better signal with the slightly higher voltage ?

How did you connect it into the radio ?

How much did it cost ?

Cheers

because it makes the controller lighter and it only take's 15min to charge

if you look in the pic i wire in a plug and took out the battery tray

im builing a bigger pack that will even last longer for my dx3r pro

Nice! At that size you could wire two of those packs parallel and double the capacity. Out of curiosity, why LiFe instead or lipo?

because the radio is a 6 volt radio and 2s life is only 6.6 volts where 2s lipo is 7.4 volts

and life are lighter then lipo

so the lighter the radio the better when you run 45min main
