Default traxxas link issues

Been using a traxxas link radio I got with my slash 4x4 in my sons 2wd slash. I went to replace the speedo in his truck with a brushless one yesterday and I couldnt get the esc to calibrate so I tried it on the steering channel which worked fine. He was driving the truck with no issues 5 min prior to me changing esc and for the last few weeks with no problems. I tried putting the old esc back in but still no response from ch 2.

Anyone have an idea of what could be the issue or am I doing something wrong. I have reset the radio 2 times, re bound the radio and receiver, put new batteries in it, ect. Have even opened the radio and receiver up and see no broken wires, burn areas or bad soldering joints. Getting frustrated with it and plan on calling Traxxas in the next few days to see what they can tell me.

What battery are you plugging in and what lights come on ?

If the ESC will not calibrate its more than likely a problem with the throttle channel setup

Centre the throttle trim
Ensure the travel limits (EPA's) are set at 100%
You may need to reverse the throttle channel if it does not sense full throttle when calibrating

Cheers

Using a fully charged orion lipo, both lights turn green on the radio and receiver. light on the speedo stays green.

Have reset endpoints, throttle trim and reversed servo and still have nothing.

The throttle lead from the ESC is connected to the correct reciever slot ?

So what happens when you enter calibration mode ?

Does the ESC register full throttle and brake signals ?

Cheers

yes its in channel #2

Esc will not pick up throttle at all when the trigger is at full throttle or reverse.
