Default Futaba 4PKS help

I need help with my futaba 4pks transmitter. I have one 1/10 buggy with a 17.5 tekin rs pro and I also have another 1/10 buggy with a 7.5 tekin rs pro. The issue I am having is that every once in awhile it will lose the brakes (usually after handing it over for someone else to try). Its done it on both setups and the only way for me to fix it is to go into the transmitter and select a different model and reprogram everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

could they be hitting the ATL dial when grabbing the transmitter? the ATL adjusts the end point of brakes so if you turn it done to say 50 it will feel like you have no brakes

when giving the radio to someone else or when its to your liking. you can lock the controls so they cant be bumped. I can on my 3pk, id expect the 4 to do the same. Its in your manual.
