Default Lipo Charging question.

I just got a Orion Twin Spec charger for its 2 channel function. The area that I have some confusion is in the power supply area. I currently have a Astro Flight model 120 putting out 13.8 volts and 12.5 amps. I'm only using 2 cell lipos 5000-6000 mah range that call for a 1C charge rate. My question is can I charge 2 batteries at same with this set up at 5amps? I'm not sure if adding up to 10 amps total charge power and the supply being 12.5 is the proper way to think about the current needs. Do I have this theory correct?

Charging two 5000mah 2S lipos at 1C (5amps) requires 42watts, for two thats 84watts total. Your power supply output is 172.5watts, so it has plenty of power. You shouldn't have any probs.

Thumbs up

Thank you Duster...That just saved me some bucks for now at least. I was thinking I needed the MaxAmps supply like they were using on the Twin Spec in the latest Car Action Issue. I appreicate the reply
