futaba 4pk receiver

Hi all. I got 1 4pk receiver 604. My problem is the distance for my 4pk transmitter & receiver cannot stand for not more than 20 meter. Can somebody give me any opinion.

Is the rx antenna present, uncut, unkinked and otherwise undamaged?

Def should be good for much, much more than that. Check antenna for any kind of crimp or kink or cuts.
