Team Orion servo

I have a VDS-1007 servo where the whit wire has broken off the board. Problem is I can't get it apart so I can solder it.
Anybody know how to get the board and motor out of the case? I've removed all screws I can see.

I believe that you just have to pull it apart (don't take my word for it though). My ESC from Orion had to be pried open to get inside. It's not easy and be careful once you do it but you should be able to just pull the two sides apart if all the screws are out and there are no servo horns or anything attached.

They would rather you ship it back to them and pay them money to fix it!!
But, as long as you are careful it should be okay. I suggest cutting along the edges first with a hobby knife or something similar just to weaken the bond a little before trying to open it! What I always do is just double-sided tape it with some strong tape and then try to pick it straight up from the tape. Always breaks the case open for me
Just be careful no matter which way you do it.

I'll wait to do it till I have some proper soldering tools again. I'll be buying a solder station at the end of the month.
Meanwhile I did get it apart, without destroying anything. I'll be ready to solder when I get the supplies.
