Default Servo Problem

I have a hitec 5645 that is messed up. I was at the track yesterday and hit some drain pipe flying down the straight away. The servo was off center 20 degrees or so. I pulled the horn off and centered it again and everything was fine until I had a hard landing. I fixed it again and it went off center a 3rd time. I purchased a gear set for it thinking I had stripped them out. I did a visual inspection of the all of the gears individually and didn't see any damage. When the radio is off the servo feels fine when I move it back and forth. When the power is on I pushed against the servo horn with a bit of force and was able to get it to skip some teeth of the gears on either side of center. Is it worth the 10 minutes to replace the gears that I already have? I'm not sure what the problem is.

I'd check your servo horn, sounds like it may be stripped out a little. I had a similar problem.

Chances are your servo is fine.
