Default New to LiPo's

I am thinking of getting a LiPo battery, up to 11.1v, with a good run time, for a good price. Are turnigys any good?

I'm looking at them myself, and from the research i've done the general opinion of people that use them is that they rock...

I've bought 9 Turnigy's from them, from 1600 2C 3S to 5000mah 30C 4S and they've been well worth the money given the performance. I plan on buying more from them when I need them.

Try to find the ones you want in the USA warehouse (near Seattle), they are a little more, but the S&H is much less and you'll get them much quicker.

If you're only going to be using 2S, the AC6 is a good choice - its AC/DC and has a builtin balancer for lipo. The Accucel-6 is DC powered and needs a separate power supply, but it has pretty much the same features including teh builtin balancer for lipo.

Both are 50watt output chargers and if you're going to run 4S, either charger will limit charging current to stay under its output power limit. Either charger willk charge a 4S lipo, but it'll take longer due to reduced charging current.
