Default Competition Electronics is upping the game

Look what Competition Electronics is bringing to the table. A little late to the game, but perhaps better late than never.

Looks veeeeery interesting........

If its less than 300 bucks, I would be surprised. Only loyal CE people will buy it. Even with the listed spec's, its still a little behind the times when it comes to current chargers.

Agreed. Large display is nice but the rest of the specs are nothing special.

Wow, another dual entering the market.

Did find it interesting the part that said "(2- 14 volt supplies can be wired for 28 volts for higher output on 5&6s Lipo packs)". Ordinarily, 300watts with 15amps would be current limited for a lipo of more than 20v, so maybe this charger manages more output with higher input voltage?

But agree, the specs are nothing we haven't seen before.

+1 agreed. Look kinda of cool but still nothing special. The thing I don't get is the whole dual power supply thing. I mean CE has been known for catering torwards high end racers for a while and most who use 5s and 6s is more club racing right now. ROAR is 4s and I read on here they are going to 3s this year(I think). So what the point??

I stick with my Hitec X-4 charger. Not the greatest but darn convenient.

Also please CE make it a decent price.

That looks pretty good. I especially like how the screen is tilted more upright. No more need for a charger stand or propping my charger behind something. At 7x7.5.x2.5 it's a nice size.

I hope it's not too expensive.

Well, since I need a couple chargers (or one dual) that does lipo and life, I would buy one if they can keep it under $230 or so. $350 and I will look elsewhere.

I'm guessing the street price will be $350 or more.

I was thinking about a Hyperion Super Duo, but I don't charge anything other than 2s and 4s. Depending on price and availability, I might hold off untill CE releases this. Their Turbo series chargers where the biz for nicads back in the day.

I have two decent chargers and would like to keep them both in my field bag rather than moving them from the bench to the bag all of the time. I would really like one bad boys of those on my workbench.
