I've been using a Futaba/Spektrum 3PK and PKS for about six years and never felt the need to relocate the mod antenna. I just removed the FM antenna and plugged the hole.

What do you expect to gain by moving the antenna?

So in other words.. yes.

it is the same principle as relocating the Spektrum Tx Module on the Airtronics M8.

Too much work for too little return. I rarely ever look at my radio while racing so I don't care if it's ugly as long as it works.

Maybe for you but its what he wants. For him it is obviously not too much trouble.

I may have to do this to my Helios. Tired of that antennae flopping all over the place. Plus you cant lay the thing down well or pack it into a radio bag.

Its really not that hard. Take a look at the link Tekronon posted and you should have a good idea how to do that for your Futaba.

Agreed but with the Futaba the module's antenna is on top and below the original antenna. It stays out of the way, you can lay it down and pack it in the same bag, not worry about breaking it and you can place the radio down just like it wasn't there.

Yours and the M8 had it sticking out the backside, that's what the difference is.
