Default troubleshoot with hyperion 720i net

I got 1 charger and a SMC 5200 4S 50C battery.

Here is my problem. Today when i wanted to do my check up on my battery status my chercher is telling me that there is no balancer connected.

Can anyone tell me the step i need to do to ensure that i do everything right and i do not miss anything. I can upload picture if needed.

I also dunno how to test my balancer. Any tutorial around here. I did a quick search but did not find anything yet. I'll keep searching but i dont have time for that right now and i scared that my battery may b e to low voltage.

Do you have anyway of checking the voltage? If its over 12v, the charger shouldn't have a prob with it. If you have a DVM/MM, you should be able to check cell voltages from the balance connector. Do the balance wires look ok, have you had any prob with them?

You should be powering the charger on, then connecting the batt main power leads and then the balance wires.

+1 on Duster360 post. Usually when this happens, its a plug pin issue either on the battery lead. Disconnect, inspect and retry a few times. I use same charger and is fairly sensitive.
