This thread is about the new Super Duo but a few brought up the good price of the Duo III+ at ultimate hobbies.

About the cheapest you can get the Super Duo is at allerc.com with the 10% coupons they have (GOOGLE10 or YAHOO10). Works out to ~$250 shipped. To me the dual screens and the extra wattage are worth the extra $60 over the Duo III+. Only thing I dislike is the new Super Duo looks substantially larger than the original Duo line.

It looks longer but not as wide as the DUO . The thunder power looks good but I hate red so that charger is out for me .

I like the looks of the TP charger. 400w per channel is certainly enough for my needs but I was not impressed with the single display. The TP charger should have definitely been a dual display unit.

I would have rather had the Hyperion charger with a display similar to the MegaPower/Fusion/etc charger. Can't have everything though.

Depends a lot on how much power you are planning on using, and perhaps whether you're looking for a ready made solution or are willing/able to do some DIY work and understand & accept some safety considerations.

Takes quite a 24V supply to achieve full power. Either some big bucks, or a couple modded server supplies in series.

Need less power, then there might be other good options.

What is the max voltage per cell you can adjust the Hyperion EOS 0720I Super Duo3 to?

Have you tried charging to that voltage?
