Default Binding one reciever to multiple Transmitters?

Here is my situation/question.

I have two SC10's and one M11X and one MX3X Airtronics transmitter. Basically, I have a Stock Class and a Mod Class SC10. I bought my son his own tranmitter for X-mas so that we could both drive either vehicle at the same time (so he doesn't have to use my transmitter while I sit on the sidelines), but I want to be able to drive either truck with either transmitter. How can I do this, since each one seems to unbind when I bind it to the other transmitter. What I want to do is have each SC10 in the "Model" memory of each transmitter, but every time I bind one transmitter to an SC10 reciever, the other transmitter will no longer work/talk to that same reciver. I'm confused. Any help is appreciated.

there is no way around it, you can bind many recievers to your transmitter, but only one transmitter per reciever. you can always rebind or if its on a module you could just swap it from transmitter to transmitter, but that is worse than rebinding.

That's not what I wanted to hear, but I figured that. Thanks for the info!

Man, I wish there was a way around this. Now it looks like I'll have to buy my son his own SC10, so I can have both of mine back, to race.

Just curious - What all is involved with binding on the Airtronics systems? Also, if you have the truck in memory on both Txs is it just a matter of going back to that memory and binding to move it back over? Does all the Trim Settings you've done stay? While it might be a bit a hassle to bind back and forth - it'd be nice if all the settings stayed and you just had to rebind.

Hoping this type of solution will work for me and my boy as well eventually.

the settings are not saved on the reciever its saved in the transmitter. you adjust the setting of each model saved on the transmitter. for example if you have two cars and you bind both recievers to your transmitter as model 1 for car 1 and model 2 for car 2 and make adjustments to your trims and epa's for each model. then happen to mix up model to car selection like selecting model 1 and then turning on car 2. you would be trying to run car 2 with car 1 settings and it would be out of wack. sorry if this confusses your more but i hope it helps.

I guess my question was more closely to the original Posters intent...

If my Car is bound to Radio A and I have all my trims and everything set up and happy - if I bind my car to Radio B and set up all my trims and such - when I go back and rebind to Radio A (using Model Memory on the Radio that I set up) will all my trims and everything still be right - or do they need readjusted because I did a fresh bind?

All trims will remain the same under that model regardless the receiver.

The hardest part about binding Airtronics is holding the receiver button while powering up... I cut off all of my on/off switches, so I have to plug in the battery while keeping my pinky on the button.
Takes about 3 seconds.

I have six+ cars & four drivers/transmitters...
Do your self the favor & figure out what the center point difference from the M11x & the MX3x. There may be none, but the MX3fg & the MXsports are not the same...
Also make every ESC/Transmitter/Model mode center point the same. Steering being messed up isn't horible, but if the car takes off look out.

My kids swap cars from time to time & it is quick to change model & re-bind.
I don't let the kids use my transmitter too often.

Traxxas has auto model memory now, but I wouldn't recomend them to any one.
