Default Multiple Radios on one Receiver?

I am wondering....

All these TX have multi model capabilities. But do the receivers?

Can I buy two Futaba or Spektrum TX and have each set of vehicles bound to both of them?

Can my son drive his Slayer Pro and I drive my Baja and then switch later on but keep our own TX?

Thanks

Sort of... You have to rebind the receiver each time your switch transmitters but you wouldn't need another receiver.
