Spektrum 3100 Bind Problem

Spektrum 3100 Bind Problem
The 3100 will bind with my DX3R but when I turn off the power switch to the ESC and turn it back on the reciever loses the bind. I tried a different 3100 and it stays bound after on/off cycles. Any suggestions? Thanks
