ok my hyperion charger has a store mode and a discharge mode. The biggest lipo I have is a 14.8 2200 I think thats the right mah in my starter box. My last race I fully charged it and the battery was brand new. So I still have it in my starter box and it hasnt been touched since my last race. Should I discharge it? Also on my store mode, I bought the charger used so I dont have the instructions, How do I use this feature correctly on all of my batteries. Sorry for all the newbie questions.

Charger manuals here toward bottom of page -

I'd discharge it to storage. If your charger is like my Hyperion, it will discharge or charge to the storage value a dictated by the lipo voltage. Since yours is charged, storage mode will discharge it. It may take some time....

I actually tried the store mode on one of my 2s 1600 rx packs. It just said store mode and the voltage which was like 7.something. So it should stop at around 3.85? Will it stop by itself?

Storage voltage is 3.85v per cell, so for a 2S thats 7.7v. It should stop on its own.

You never want to discharge a lipo below 3v/cell (6v for a 2S) and personally I'd not let mine go below 7v. You can damage lipo by overdischarging.

so basically Duster by selecting store mode the charger basically discharges or charges the battery to the correct voltage. So I dont need to use the discharge feature but use the store mode

ok Im storing one of my 2s 1600 rx packs. It has been on for 36 minutes so far. It keeps bouncing back and forth between 7.818 and 7.820. Does that mean it is done or will the it stop storing on it own

When storing lipos, just keep them at 3.7-3.9 volts/cell. It'll keep bouncing back and forth endlessly. There's no "limiter" so to speak. So it keeps charging/discharging. You can just take it off the charger...

cool thanks man. So for a 4s 2200 it should be stored at 15.8? Once I have them all stored is it safe to leave them in my garage

My EOS0720 iNET3 will give out alarm at the end of the storage mode. After that press Enter to end the charge then unplug the balance plug then the main charge plug...

It keeps bouncing up and down because the charger is balancing the cells. It will stop balancing only after you terminated the charge.

You can leave them in the garage just keep them away from flammables, store them in cool and dry place.
