throttle servo

Hey im looking at throttle servos. I know i want a hitec. But on specs im not sure. I know i want fast as possible but how about tq oz? What do i want minimum, and can most hitec servos handle 7.4v even though it might not say it? Thank you!

Dont know your budget... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXWCE7&P=ML
Personally i use the 985mg(th/brk) and 5955(steering) lipo direct for the past 2 years with zero issues.

ya trying to keep it under 100.

Up to you..

I believe 150 oz is enough for buggy, prob want a bit more for truggy... .10-.14 for speed. the faster the better in my opinion...

7955, 7940, or 7950 are the only 3 Hitech servo's that will handle direct Lipo. 7955 is the least expensive of the 3.

5955 will too if you can find one here used

I am looking for new servos also.
I want .06-.11 sec at 250 Oz. inch(or higher), running on 6.0 volt Nimh or maybe try a new Life Pack.

just didnt like them, felt slow and kinda hesitated. they were smooth tho. just not for me... the more expensive ones are better when running lipo but still didnt feel as fastest as they are supposed to be... still good servos for the price, i just rather spend a little more for something i like more... i only run NiMh and LiFe batteries.
