Hey im looking at throttle servos. I know i want a hitec. But on specs im not sure. I know i want fast as possible but how about tq oz? What do i want minimum, and can most hitec servos handle 7.4v even though it might not say it? Thank you!

a hitec 7954 is a good alternative to the 7955, same thing except medal gears.

also hobbico makes a hitec 7955, just under their name: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXNRN6&P=ML

I'm using the Savox 1267 and 1268 servos for throttle and steering.

High voltage (direct LiPo, no regulator) and under $100.

Both buggy and truggy, zero problems to date. Their support is also terrific. We have been told that if there is ever an issue with a servo, they will drop you a replacement right away with no long wait period like JR or Hitec.

Maybe it was an isolated thing, but I've had 2 in the past that have taken unusually long to return.

Unfortunately Savox has no warranty. I had a 1258TG fail after 2 races and according to Savox website there is no return policy or warranty. If there is one please let me know but this is what I found.
