Default Esc wiring help

i was riding my rustler like an idiot without a body on tar, it flipped and it ate some of my wiring on my esc, can i just change the wires? or must i send it to traxxas?

If its just stripped some insulation off and not damaged the wires, I'd use some liquid electrical tape and just reseal/reinsulate them. If you've damaged the wire inside, it'd be best to replace the wires with some quality rc type silicone wire.

If this is still in warranty, doing it yourself will prob void the warranty. If its not in warranty, only thing sending to Traxxas will do is cost you time and money.

I have changed wires on many ESCs, but if you are not pretty slick with the soldering iron I suggest you leave it to Traxxas. The cost for repair is pretty darn cheap if I remember correctly. If you have any doubts it may not be worth the cost of an accident. On the other hand, if you are good with stuff like that, it is not a hard job.

I also agree with Duster, if its just a little insulation just cover it with shrink or some kind of electrical tape.
