I have a 1200Mah, and I don't see how it could be a dead battery. The car only runs for like 2 minutes before it becomes sluggish, but if I plug the battery directly into the motor it runs fine. When its plugged into the esc it still works, but it is sluggish. The steering is fine though.

Did anything change since the last time you used it? Maybe a wire came loose somewhere? I dont think it is a very reliable ESC to begin with, but be sure you have checked all possibilities before tossing it.

Think you mean a 7550 esc like comes in a Vendetta SC.....

They're not the greatest and sometimes don't give any warning when they're having probs. After making sure wiring/batts are OK, try setting the esc back up -

You would not believe how often I see this happen, so dont feel bad. Some plugs come with a tab to only allow them to go in one way, while others leave you to figure it out on your own.

You can usually keep yourself out of this kind of trouble by remembering that the ground wire is to the outside of the rcvr. So, if the esc lead has a black wire, it goes to the outside. The other common ground color is brown.

Glad it was simple to fix.
