Default Charger Options

Am looking for a new charger, and have a feeling my expectations are too high!! Anyway, thought if I posted my wishlist some of you guys could point me in the direction of the best options, please! What I'm looking for, to charge my 2s lipo packs, is:

Mains and 12v input
Fast discharge rate for storage (eg can discharge at more than 1A)
ACCURACY - a good reputation for balancing/not over charging

Nice to have's:
Multi inputs (eg charge more than one pack at a time)
More than 50w (ability to charge 2s at 7-8A)
Ability to charge nimh/life as well

What would anyone recommend? Are fusion chargers any good?

Yeah, your expectations are way out there compared to whats available. The dual charging capability on AC/DC power doesn't exist as far as I'm aware.

you really need to decide whats important as far as what you want/need to charge and go from there. The AC/DC requirement is really very limiting in the area of chargers. They just don't make them for much above entry level type basic charging.

A fairly close match is the new Hyperion 0720i Net3-AD AC/DC model. Solid rep, 5 amp discharge on a 2s, 90 watts on AC power (150W on DC). Just buy two!

Or if you are willing to go for a power supply the Duo models are double chargers with more power.

Well, even though this charger is dc only, it'll do everything you'll ever want to do PLUS++++ It will be the last system you'll ever need.

This power supply will also service this charger. I just got one & it's great.

Then if you're willing to go with a single charger instead of spending a big chunk of cash, the newer Hyperion 0720Net3 AD is one to consider. It is AC/DC, has -

"EOS 0720i NET3 AD (ac/dc input)
10.5V~29V DC (20A, 150W max charge)
100V~240V AC (20A, 90W max charge)"

and as far as accuracy - "* 12-Bit Balance Circuit Resolution for superb accuracy".

The discharge specs are 50watts with a max of 5amps. That makes for a relatively fast discharge. Although I prefer to just run a lipo and let the charger charge it back to storage conditions.

Charger specs here - manual is available at bottom of page -

Another consideration is the EOS 615i DUO 3

Dual charger (two batteries at once), same functions including the STORE function. Also DC only, but a nice power supply is not that expensive. Again - last one you will need to buy.
