is there anyone out there still racing with nimhs? What are the good brands to choose these days (links, etc). Looking for 7 cell 1/10th scale short course racing... I can run any style basically.

Follow that link and get some ENER-G 4600. Best NiMH cell EVER! The 5000 don't have quite the voltage and punch.
