There are a couple of stages with the HW software - you are at the stage of updating the LCD programmer. You need to update it to 120504 - NEVER xxxx_v3 for a Justock or V2/V2.1 ESC.

Once you have updated the LCD programmer, you will be able to switch over to the ESC and you will find the 508 in the dropdown. Check that the software database is listed as 121204, because that is what the latest version of 508 comes from.

Does the ESC need to be plugged into the programming card in order to find the 508 in the dropdown? I am running V3.3, will this work?

Hi, I have just purchased the Justock ESC and would like to update the firmware, I heard the ESC is quite good when updated. I never have updated any HW ESC firmware, so im a novice to this.

Could anyone tell me if the V3.3 software will work since I can not find the V3.2. I noticed that the Justock was listed under the compatability "EZRUN Series Car ESC (Version 2.0 and later)"?
So I assume it is compatibale with V3.3...

Where can I find the "508_No_Timing" firmware?

Finally I have the 2in1 Professional Program Box and not the Multifunction LCD program card. So please keep this in mind.

I guess my questions are:
After I download the V3.3 software how do I get it onto the Program Box and onto the ESC and where do I get the 508 firmware and is it the most current and best for the Justock?

I downloaded the V3.3 software and then updated my program card to this...
What does this do, is it even a upgrade?

Is this correct so far?
Where do I get the 508 firmware for the Justock Clubspec ESC. Is this the best firmware for this ESC?
How do I get the firmware on the ESC?

Sorry, think you are not getting an answer because your question is not clear. Are you asking if there is a way to change settings on the ESC for longer run time? If so on this model, no. The updates on this ESC are largely to fix braking and acceleration curves. Best way to increase run time is larger MAH battery, or smaller spur gear. This will also reduce top speed however.

So when will we see the all new JUSTOCK ?? :sneaky:

This ESC cannot be changed to advance timing. It is a no timing only controller. The one thing you can change is punch/take off power of the unit.

To increase run time you increase the size of the spur and/or reduce the size of the pinion. This reduces the load on the motor and reduces amp draw and heat. Top speed will decrease as will acceleration (electric motor) unless you were over geared.

Strange just talked to them direct, and outside of maybe a waterproof one thats it.

Unless thats the new one your speaking of.

Cobraracing did announce a replacement a couple of months back.

evochick 06-04-2014 02:29 PM

If you download the v3.1 manual from the website in the models it lists a new 60Amp version called SportsSpec V3.1. Looks like it shares the same case as the current StockSpec 100Amp version.

So I would say its on its way soon, if only it would hurry up...

Beth.

lets just hope the price stays in the justock range
