Default Servo doesn't respond and gets hot

I have a hitec 625 metal geared servo that suddenly stopped responding at times, delays response and turns slow when turning right, but maintains normal speed when turning left. the motor also gets hot inside the servo. i checked the gears and they were fine (listened, then opened it up). does this mean i need a new one? or is there a way to save it.

I crashed my buggy and the front a-arm ripped off. i put on a new one and the steering was great. after about 5 min of driving my buggy the servo stops turning right sometimes. or it does not respond at all.

You've prob damaged the servo inside, crash poss affected something electronic. I'd send it to Hitec for service. They'll take care of it.

You may also have something binding in your steering when turning right
