I would like to ask advice from some serious racers, is this charger worth the money to invest ? Looks like it has a lot of features but just wonder if we ever need it ?
I understand that during the older batt era, a good charger does play an important part to ensure the batt give the extra punch. Is this the same now tih the new lipos ? Is fast charging the lipo a safe thing to do ?
Any feedback appreciated.
Tks.

Powerful chargers are plenty nowadays. MuchMore Legend that charge up to 16 amps, the LRp will only charge up to 12. Orion came out just recently with a 20 amp charger, but then again - I guess it really depends on your lipos if they can handle the high charging rates. Some manufacturers encourage up to 3C but will shorten lifespan of battery. I only charge up to 10 amps max on my 50C SMC batts and they seem to hold pretty well.
